How long does it take for FusionBot technology to spider my site?

When requesting a re-crawl of your site, the FusionBot spider is not added to a queue, for indexing at a later time, rather, the spider begins crawling your site immediately upon clicking the request link.

The time it takes our spider to index your site is dependent upon the bandwidth available, the number of pages being indexed, and the speed of the server that your site is hosted on. Typically, when you request an re-crawl via the member center, you will receive an email confirmation of the spider's completion within a few minutes.

Please keep in mind, however, if you have set your spider speed to a rate other than 'Fast', your spider will take considerably longer to complete, sometimes up to several hours, if your pages number in the hundreds or thousands.

Altering the spider speed within your account will increase the amount of time the FusionBot spider waits between each page request to your site, as follows:

Fast ==> 0 seconds between page requests
Medium ==> 3 seconds between page requests
Slow ==> 6 seconds between page requests

To alter your current indexing speed, login to your account, click on the Spider tab, and under the Index Options section, click the Indexing Speed link.
