How does the "No Results Found Redirect" option work?

By default, when a visitor submits a search that returns no matches, FusionBot returns the following message:

Matched 0 pages in 0.01 seconds [ Sort by: Date | Rank ]

Your search did not match any documents for this web site.

  • Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
  • Try using fewer words.
  • Try using more general keywords.
  • Try different keywords or spellings.

For Bronze, Silver & Gold customers, rather than FusionBot returning this standard message, you can choose to redirect your visitors to a custom developed page on your server, displaying your own message or instructions.

To specify a custom redirect page, login to your account, click the 'Relevance' tab, 'relevance controls' option and set the URL for the 'Custom No Matches Page'.

Additionally, Silver & Gold customers can customize this message, directly within their custom template, by replacing the FusionBot template object tag $LGK_NO_RESULTS, with their own custom HTML. For more information on customizing your template, please refer to our FusionBot Template Object Documentation PDF.
