Can I create more than one search template for a single FusionBot account?

As a Silver or Gold subscriber, you have the ability to create multiple, distinct, templates for controlling the appearance / design of your search results.

This may be useful, for example, if you wish to provide one look and feel when a search is submitted from your extranet site, while providing for an alternate design when a search is conducted from your intranet site.

To create an additional template, login to your account, click on the 'Customization' tab, and select the 'Template' link. At the bottom of the resultant page is a link labeled Create Additional Template. Click this link, and you will be provided with detailed instructions.

If you design multiple search result templates, when you request a copy of your HTML code by clicking on the 'Get HTML Code' link in the left-hand navigation menu, you will be presented with a drop-down menu for selecting which template to use when a search is conducted from the corresponding search box supplied, similar to the screen-shot below:

In this manner, when inserting the FusionBot HTML code for displaying the search box on your site, this HTML code will pass a template identifier to the FusionBot query program to determine which template to use when displaying your output.

Another great use for the multiple search templates feature is the ability to design a test template for making changes and testing a new design for your template without affecting the appearance of the search results in your production environment! When ready, simply copy the contents of your test template into your Main template source.
